The Eastview campus is one of two middle schools (the second is the Highlands campus) governed by the White Plains Public School District. This architecturally stunning school was built in the 1930s, is shaped like an "E" and was featured in a scene of the HBO series "Boardwalk Empire," which was filmed at the school in the spring of 2009. The school houses one-third of the Highlands campus' student population as well the district's Newcomer Center and pre-kindergarten program.
Eastview offers French, Spanish, Chinese; an integrated music, art, social studies and language curriculum; and utilizes modern technology like interactive white boards, computer labs and video conferencing. The school's newspaper, The Courier, is believed to be the oldest middle school newspaper in the country.
