The Warrensburgh Museum of Local History was founded in 1975, at the start of America's Bicentennial Celebration. Storage trunks and attics of local residents have yielded thousands of artifacts and photographs related to Warrensburg's history. In 2002 the museum was closed for renovation and reorganization by the Warrensburgh Historical Society and reopened in July 2009 with all new exhibits. Exhibits are reviewed frequently.Several temporary exhibits are also created each year.
