Established in 1973, Veritas Villa Inc. is a non-profit, inpatient rehabilitation and wellness center. Some of the programs offered by the healthcare center include inpatient treatment, women s and men s program, nicotine addiction, residential program, recreational activities, in-residence family programs and specialized grief and loss groups. Other services available at the foundation are industrial employee assistance programs, self-insured programs and training or intern programs. Veritas Villa Inc. is accredited by CARF International and holds approval of the New York State (NYS) Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services. It is the first freestanding drug and alcoholism treatment facilities in New York State to treat alcoholics and drug addicts together.

Established in 1982 as The Weekend Center, the Lexington Center for Recovery, is a nonprofit organization that serves Westchester and Dutchess counties in the state of New York. It provides mental health and clinical care services to people who suffer from chemical dependency and substance abuse. The Lexington Center for Recovery also offers spiritual, anger management and relapse prevention services and conducts one-on-one counseling sessions for individuals, families and senior citizens. It provides medication monitoring, psychiatric evaluation, and vocational and educational assessment services. The organization also offers a women's intensive program that focuses on addiction recovery, parenting classes and on-site child care services for women participants with children. The Lexington Center for Recovery operates more than 15 health care units and one of its facilities is located in Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

The Student Assistance Services Corporation (SAS) was established in 1985. It is an offspring of the Westchester County Department of Community mental Health.
