History
Dr. Debbie Elliott started VETdispatch, Mobile Veterinarians in 2009 determined to offer house calls to patients that do not travel well or simply cannot travel to the hospital. Some of the people that have benefited from this service include disabled people, seniors, those who do not drive, and mothers with children. Surprisingly, Dr. Elliott found that the real benefit was to the pets. Cats simply do not travel well. Many will vocalize, become ill and hide for days after the trip. Senior dogs struggle to get into the vehicle for transport. People faced with these and similar situations feel guilty and stress about not being able to offer their pets' health care. Now, there is a solution. You can call The Less-Stress VETS to come to your home and provide veterinary health care. VETdispatch has expanded to CT, NJ, PA, MD and DC.
