Herkimer-Fulton-Hamilton-Otsego BOCES
Herkimer County Board of Cooperative Services, also known as Herkimer County BOCES, provides educational programs and services to more than 10 component school districts in Mohawk Valley in upstate New York. Its component districts enroll more than 14,000 students, and employ over 1,200 professional staff members. It offers regional school programs that involve the participation of more than 10 component school districts, including Dolgeville, Mount Markham, Frankfort-Schuyler, Owen D. Young, Herkimer, Poland, Ilion, Richfield Springs, Mohawk and West Canada Valley. It provides courses, such as English, math, algebra, geometry, science, Earth science, living environment, chemistry, social and global studies, history and government, economics, Spanish, and health. The department also provides various other services, such as medical reimbursements, arts in education and an honors program. It additionally offers professional and personality development programs, and regional support services. The center is located in Herkimer, N.Y.
