Located in White Plains, N.Y., the United States Tennis Association, also known as USTA, is the national governing body for the sport of tennis. It promotes and develops the sport s growth on every level in the United States, ranging from local communities to the US Open championship. Established in 1881, USTA is one of the largest nonprofit tennis organizations in the world. The organization has more than 665,000 individual members and over 7,000 organizational members.
