Methodists have been worshipping in Bridgehampton for nearly 200 years, and come together today in the white and blue church that graces the southeast corner of Montauk Highway and Halsey Lane. Worship is every Sunday at 11 a.m., with Holy Communion offered on the first Sunday of each month. Bible/book study is held Wednesdays; call the church for specific times. The pastor is The Rev. Joanne S. Utley. Services include pastoral counseling, visitation, Bible study, and prayer requests. Concerts featuring the church's Casavant Frères organ, and there are occasional jazz worship services as well. Special worship services are held Ash Wednesday, Easter Sunrise and Christmas Eve.
The congregation actively supports the Bridgehampton Community Food Pantry and Maureen’s Haven, a program that houses and feeds the East End homeless during the winter. Early in June, the church hosts a Strawberry Shortcake Festival, and in December a Community Christmas Carol Sing-Along.
