Edgar Segura opened Uncle Buck's Country Deli in early 2005 on Rockwood Avenue. The menu changes daily but it always offers fresh and hot Spanish food that is made right on the site. The deli also offers a breakfast menu and traditional American deli sandwiches.

Went back... Ordered a burger. The meat was bad. It had a foul smell. I'm not eating that! Mentioned it to the server, she didn't say anything just took it. Now you know.

A very small general store/delicatessen across the road from John J. Daly Elementary. It's changed ownership a bunch of times, & had to be rebuilt once after one owner torched it for the insurance...

Battaglia Bros

Battaglia Brothers has been selling homemade sopressata sausage and mozzarella cheese on North Avenue since the 1980s. It's hard not to notice the hanging meats as soon as you enter this small Italian grocery. The shop also offers hot meals for take-out and refrigerated Italian meals, which are packaged daily. This particular location is one of four owned by Battaglia Brothers. There are two other stores in New Rochelle, and one in Dobbs Ferry.
