Umoja Events & Balloon Decor was created initially as just an event planning business for two night clubs looking to earn extra revenue for there business. We partnered with a balloon agency to offer a full package to the customers when they came in for their private parties. One thing led to another and we eventually merged the businesses into one hence the name Umoja Events & Balloon Decor. Umoja means Unity in Swahili and it was a natural fit for a business that always brings families and businesses together for a common goal. Umoja Events is a family owned business that hires from the community those who are looking for a change in pace from there day to day to be more creative.
