New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services, also known as OASAS, offers a range of rehabilitative services. It operates the Bureau of Prevention that works to prevent alcohol and other drug problems. The office organizes a variety of classroom presentations, skill development workshops and training sessions for parents and teachers.
