History
Twisted Rail Brewing Co., LLC, began its journey as micro-brewery located at 20 Pleasant Street in Canandaigua, NY. Opened in December 2013, partners John McMullen, Mike McMullen and Nathan Sirvent offer beer lovers the chance to experience the brewer's journey in the art of making beer. The brewery has a New York State Farm Brew License, implemented in 2013 to encourage the use of locally-grown ingredients and support Upstate New York agriculture. The unique license allows any beer to be made on premise to be served in small sample or in pints; and dispensed in 64-oz growlers to-go. Now in its second phase, current owners John McMullen and Ian Boni opened a tasting room in Macedon, NY December of 2015. In May of 2016 we relocated our Canandaigua location to the shore of Canandaigua Lake and are now boat accessible.
