About TwinState History In 1968, our company was founded as Adirondack Security Systems by Charles and Dulcie Currier. The first office of the corporation was a single room. In 1969, with the success of the landmark Carter-Fone decision, TwinState Telephone Interconnect was established as a subsidiary of Adirondack Security Systems. Our primary business in the 1970's and early 1980's was security and telephone systems. In the mid 80's, all that drastically changed. Telephones and computers became the main focus. In 1989 we designed and installed our first large scale fiber-optic network. The 90's were a rapidly changing time; integrating voice processing, full-scale voice and computer local area networks, fiber optics, and Interactive Voice Response (IVR) systems. The turn of the 21st century meant even more change, as Digital Video Recording (DVR) began to outdistance traditional analog VHS technology in surveillance and safety markets. Internet Protocol (IP) -based telephony solutions catapulted into the business lexicon. TwinState forged ahead, meeting the challenges head on with viable and remarkably flexible non-proprietary solutions. In addition to physical systems installation and maintenance, TwinState surged ahead by providing consultative design services to aid growing companies in planning, re-engineering and deployment of new networks and systems. Assistance ranged from cable plant design to "Help Desk" development and points between. As consultants and/or resources for customers struggling through the often confusing elements of long distance and wireless carrier service, TwinState has served with proven dedication and commitment to customer satisfaction. To provide our customers with communications products and services through a company committed to customer service, superb technical capabilities and continued adaptability to emerging technologies in voice, data and video communications disciplines.
