The 2 partners who started Trio looked for several years at what the Rochester market lacked. We visited other cities to see what they offered that Rochester didn't. Trio is unique to Rochester because of the 3 principle facets of our operation.... Dine, Drink, Dance. That's how the name TRIO originated with a commitment to excel in all 3 phases.
Specialties
We're several things. For one we're a quality restaurant. Every entree is prepared and supervised by Chef Marcus Germonto, with 30+ years experience. The atmosphere is casual but stylish. Second, we're a fun, 27 foot long island bar with specialty cocktails, a large beer selection as well as a comprehensive liquor inventory. Third, on Friday & Saturday nights Trio features a DJ playing music videos from the 70's through today. Plus, there are 3 10 foot glass doors that open up to a spacious outside patio with firetop tables and electric overhead heaters. All of this combines to be an all-in-one, prime spot for special events and parties.
