Brooklyn Heights Montessori School, based in Brooklyn, N.Y., is an independent day school for children up to grade eight. Established in 1965, the school provides educational programs to more than 300 students annually. Brooklyn Heights Montessori School s Little Room classes are designed to serve children with speech and language delays and deficits, learning disabilities, sensory processing and related emotional and social difficulties. It also offers Montessori Afternoons Plus, an after school program offering a wide variety of activities, such as photography, chess, soccer, art, yoga, ceramics, music and cooking.
