Jewish Home and Hospital Lifecare System is a nonprofit skilled nursing home and geriatric health care and rehabilitation facility employing skilled nurses, physicians and other professionals to provide long term care, adult day care, home health care, health services, social and community services in the New York area. The nursing home provides health services for more than 5,200 senior citizens daily through traditional medical health care, long-term care, subacute care and senior housing programs. These health services are offered on the system s three campuses in Manhattan, the Bronx, and Westchester at the Sarah Neuman Center for Healthcare and Rehabilitation, as well as through the Lifecare Services Division. The Jewish Home and Hospital was founded in 1848 by the B'Nai Jeshurun Ladies Hebrew Benevolent Society.
