The Iron Kettle Landmark Restaurant was first established in 1947 as the Aurora Drive-In. In 1960, owner Phil Milliron changed the name to the Iron Kettle and it has been known as such ever since. The restaurant has always thrived, featuring home-cooked meals prepared in-house every day. Unfortunately, circumstances related to the COVID-19 pandemic forced closure of the business. Under new ownership, the Iron Kettle Landmark Restaurant will re-open in early 2022 and continue its rich tradition of high-quality food prepared from scratch, daily. Our buttermilk pancakes, buttermilk malted waffles, and braised corned beef are just a few breakfast items that will be prepared using new owner recipes and cannot be found anywhere else!
