History
Our style of Ju-Jitsu was created in 1947 by Charles Elmore. Through his disciples I, Feliz R Mejia III and now the successor of the style and I'm teaching in Brooklyn at 1585 Fulton Street. We have been operating out of this dojo for the last 10 years. Now that covid has subsided to a manageable degree our doors are open to the public again and we are looking to move ahead in full steam.
Specialties
Temple Of Nemesis Ju-Jitsu specializes in street self-defense. Our goal is to teach the applicant the ability to control the fight or flight response, therefore making decisions with a level head and cool composure. Our number one goal is to avoid all confrontation at all costs, but if we get pushed into a corner where we cannot then we are to use our self-defense training for means of survival. We teach anti-bullying and we also teach people how to have more confidence in their selves and abilities. We intermingle within our self-defense kickboxing in order to help us learn an offensive style that aids and the implementation of our defense. One of our prime focuses is on the students health and mental well-being.
