The Memorare Council #3476 Knights of Columbus was formed in 1952 and has operated here in Seaford since 1954. Meetings for members are held on the first and third Wednesday of each month, with parties also hosted throughout the year. In 1983 "The Memorare Foundation" was established, which has donated over $180,000 to charities. The council also donates an average of $9,000 annually to various organizations. The Knights of Columbus, formed in 1882, is the largest Catholic-based fraternal service organization in the United States.
