Syracruse University, established in 1870, offers a variety of undergraduate, graduate, distance learning and law programs. Located in Syracruse, N.Y., it has various schools and colleges, including the Martin J. Whitman school of management, school of law, college of human services and health professions, college of visual and performing arts, Maxwell school of citizenship and public affairs, and school of architecture.
