Swaby's Tavern is a unique place located at 6 South Street in Auburn, New York. Our theme is Auburn history, and many unique Auburn artifacts. The Tavern re-opened in 2008 after being closed for several years, it is a local hang out for people to stop, relax and fortify themselves. Auburn's residents frequent the Tavern too, purchase drinks and meals and participate in lively conversations. It's one of Auburn's focal points for neighbors to come together, exchange news, talk of politics, and share in the general feeling of conviviality. It is firmly established as gathering places for the light hearted socializing, serious talk, and of course, a hearty meal accompanied by a tasty libation or two. Whether,lunch or a round of drinks in the evening, visiting Swaby's Tavern is always an extraordinary experience.
