Sunflower Day Care Center was founded in 1994. While running their first childcare center owners experienced first-hand the stresses that working parents faced while trying to balance their work and life. In an effort to more fully support them, programs and services were developed. The importance of balancing the needs of parents and children&raising healthy,educated and well rounded kids,became the foundation & the corner stone of this center.

More than just Child Day Care Center! Here at Sunflower Day Care Center we offer a multigenerational, multicultural program that adds life to every part of the Sunflower Day Care Family. Children are part of the natural rhythm of daily life throughout our center conviniently located in the peaceful Bath Beach part of Bensonhurst,Brooklyn.Their laughter and singing can be heard all over the confortable quarters of our center and in our outdoor garden as they interact with kids and teachers of different specialties like general education,math,writingarts&crafts,music,foreign languages. Our early childhood educational programs are designed to promote independence, self-confidence, self-esteem and individual decision-making, with activities including: Group activities and rest periods, Storytelling, music and creative arts Gardening, indoor and outdoor physical activities We are bilingual-English,Russian,Hebrew. We are licensed by the New York City Department of Health.
