The Sunday Mass, which first debuted in the New York metropolitan area on Dec. 20, 1970, is a national weekly radio and TV broadcast. Hosted by Father Edward Beck, the program delivers a spiritual, inspirational message from the Catholic Passionist community.
The broadcast now reaches tens of thousands of people throughout the United States. The broadcast is particularly popular among senior citizens and the infirm, but its audience includes viewers from various denominations and all walks of life.
While the radio station is taped at a different location, the Sunday Mass is affiliated with St. Catharine's Catholic Church.
