Steven A. Jenson was born in Grand Forks, North Dakota and grew up in Williamsville, N.Y. He graduated from Williamsville Central High School in 1968 and Valparaiso university in 1972 with a B.A. in chemistry. After graduating from Northwestern university Dental School in 1976, Dr. Jenson completed an Oral and Maxillofacial residency at the university of Buffalo. Dr. Jenson began his private practice in 1979 with offices in Williamsville and Tonawanda. He received a university of Buffalo appointment that same year as a clinical assistant professor in the Dental School. He also began treating the Buffalo Sabres in 1979 and remains the team Oral Surgeon. Professional memberships include: American Dental Association Erie County Dental Society the eighth district Dental Society American association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery New York State Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Western New York Society of Oral & Maxillofacial Surgeons (President 1990-1991) Dr. Jenson has maintained privileges at all Kaleida Hospitals. Dr. Jenson and his wife of 38 years have 2 children and one grandchild. The doctor enjoys hobbies of fishing, golf, sailing and reading.
