Students have access to wireless Internet on campus. Teachers can use smartboards for multimedia presentations. The school's Web site also provides information on current assignments and gives the students the opportunity to submit homework online.
All students in the Upper School participate in the school's Community Service Program. In small groups, the students are sent out to work with local organizations, which organize projects for children, the elderly or the needy.
Soundview Preparatory School encourages prospective students to visit the school, talk to students, staff and faculty to determine if that is the right place for them. The school operates under a rolling admission policy, which means that it accepts students throughout the year. A minimum of two years attendance is required, but applicants going into their senior year will be considered under special circumstances.
