Michael Signorelli founded Signorelli Vocal Studio in the 1960s, offering lessons to students who were serious about piano and voice. After Signorelli's death in 2000, his daughter Pamela, who has taught voice, piano and ballet, took over the family business. She emphasizes Signorelli Vocal Studio's strong history as a rarity among vocal schools and describes her father as one of the last bel-canto greats. A former leading tenor with the Chicago Opera Company, Maestro Signorelli also founded Lyric Opera Company of Long Island in the 1970s.
