Community Board 6, serving Forest Hills and Rego Park, is the local link to the mayor's office and more. Designed as a place where residents can get all of their questions answered, Community Board 6 exists to help those who live in Forest Hills make the most of the place where they live.
The community board is made up of 50 volunteer members, and is presided over by District Manager Frank Gulluscio and Chairman Joseph Hennessy.
Its main concerns are zoning and land use, budgetary concerns for New York City, and overall community wellness.
It meets once a month, with a break during the summer.
