Located in Brooklyn, N.Y., P.S. 229 Dyker has an annual enrollment of more than 590 students in kindergarten through fifth grade. It provides coaching and training in tennis and organizes various art projects. The school is affiliated with The New York City Department of Education. P.S. 229 Dyker conducts special enrichment classes in art, music, author studies, library skills and media, and technology and physical education. In addition, it supports several after-school math and reading enrichment, string ensemble and homework help programs. P.S. 229 Dyker has educational and business alliances with the Dyker Parks Alliance, Museum of Modern Art, Kiwanis Club of Marine Park, Bay Ridge Community Council, St. John's University, St. Francis College, Xaverian High School and the Fontbonne Hall Academy.
