Dr. Peter Lichtenstein received his Chiropractic degree from NWHSU and his acupuncture degree from the Northern School of Chinese Medicine, located in Minneapolis. He is an adjunct professor at NWHSU, teaching acupuncture at the post-doctoral level. He is a past president of the Acupuncture Society of New York. Dr. L. has spent time volunteering in small communities in the rural regions of Costa Rica, providing the poor valuable chiropractic and acupuncture treatments. Often these were the only medical services they received in years. In 1991, he opened one of the first fertility clinics in Minnesota, helping dozens of women achieve their lifelong goals. Dr. Peter has been practicing Oriental Medicine and Massage since 1978. Careful attention is paid to both the symptoms and the underlying physiological and energetic imbalances at the root of disease. All aspects of a person: physical, mental, emotional, and lifestyle are woven into a unified treatment plan.

Often acupuncture needles are not used and magnets, cupping, or Gua Sha (a friction massage) or Tui Na (Chinese Massage) can be substituted. Herbs, vitamins, and nutritional supplements are used depending on the case.
