History
NYC Velo is located in the East Village (2nd Avenue between 3rd and 4th Streets) and Since December 2013 also in Hell's Kitchen (45th st. at 11th Avenue). Owner Andrew Crooks, with the help of his family and friends, and Freecell Architecture, restored the space's architectural elements and converted it into the most unique bike shop in Manhattan. A shop for cyclists, by cyclists. We believe a bike shop should be more than just a store - it should be a place for cyclists. NYC Velo is proud to have an area in the shop dedicated to rider relaxation, where cyclists can hang out or read a magazine.
