The WIC Cumberland Center is a satellite location of Woodhull Hospital. WIC (Women, Infants and Children) is a supplemental food program for pregnant women, nursing mothers and infants through toddlers that empowers them to eat nutritiously. This is accomplished via a two-fold approach -- through vouchers that can be redeemed for pre-approved food at local supermarkets and by a comprehensive health and nutritional information plan that outlines and encourages smarter food choices. The WIC program ends for the individual when the eligible child turns 5.
