Niki Klein specializes in the evaluation and treatment of pediatric communication difficulties including receptive, expressive, and articulation delays and disorders as well as children diagnosed with hearing loss, auditory processing disorder, apraxia of speech, cleft palate, and autism spectrum disorders. Niki Klein is ASHA (American Speech-Language-Hearing Association) Certified and holds a TSSLD (Teacher of Students with Speech and Language Disabilities) certification. She received her Bachelor of Science in Human Development from Cornell University and a Master of Science Degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders at Columbia University, Teachers College. She is trained in a number of specialized treatment methodologies, including PROMPT, Dynamic Temporal and Tactile Cueing (DTTC) for Speech Motor Learning, The Kaufman Speech Praxis Treatment Approach, Sounds in Motion, Auditory Verbal Therapy, and Social Thinking.
