Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church, founded in 1929, is currently celebrating it's 50 year anniversary. The church is connected to a school and has a side entrance for children to access the church. The Reverend, Dr. Johnny Ray Youngblood, is well known for writing several books about spiritual healing, and more specifically of the empowerment of oppressed peoples.
