Village Board of Trustees is one of the departments operated by the local government of the town of Mount Kisco in New York. The town is governed by a mayor and several trustees, one of whom is appointed as deputy mayor in the beginning of every term. The board members form the town s legislative branch and are responsible for government administration, budget approval and taxes, appointing village and town officials and specialized board members, and acting as Mount Kisco's board of police commissioners. Village Board of Trustees conducts its meetings on a regular basis. The board s meetings are open to the public and are taped for broadcast on local television. It also reviews public comments on several issues.
