History
After being a Master Trainer with a Focus in Corrective Exercise for 7 years, Founder David Vargas decided to move into the soft tissue world. He began as a Massage Therapist at an Integrative Medical Center in Noho, then moved on to becoming the head of Soft Tissue Analysis and Treatment for 4 years, followed by managing a Sport/Medical Massage Center for 3 years before opening Momentum Sports Massage. 3 years into his first location on Union Square he rebranded to be more inclusive of the modalities used, to Momentum Sports Recovery. MSR finally found its home on the most athletic block in Brooklyn, Degraw Street. In addition to all of the soft tissue modalities employed, MSR Brooklyn also offers Cryotherapy.
