P.L.U.S. Group Homes is a not-for-profit agency that assists adults with developmental disorders. The agency provides housing and essential services via continuous staff presence, medical and psychiatric care, counseling, recreation and therapy. This Wantagh office can walk family members through the process of applying for placement in a home and obtaining services for a needy loved one. The original concept of P.L.U.S. was started in 1985 by parents concerned for the well-being of their grown children living with autism. The program has grown to include six P.L.U.S. Group Homes in Nassau County. A seventh home is currently being developed in Levittown.
