Mercy College is a four-year private institution. It was founded in 1950 as a junior college, and in 1961 it became a four-year school offering bachelor's degrees.
Accommodations at the Yorktown Heights campus include 25 classrooms, a library, two computer labs, a writing center, a math lab, a learning center, student lounge, faculty lounge, fitness room, community room, admissions, advising, career development and student financial services.
The Mercy College Honors Program is one of the oldest in New York State. It was established in 1971 and offers academic challenges and engaging co-curriculum activities to the high-achieving students.
The Mercy College Personalized Achievement Contract (PACT) is a program ensures student success by partnering students with professional mentors who build a customized plan for each participating student.
Eligible students can receive scholarships from the college, extra financial aid from the NY State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP) and federal Pell Grants.
