Martha G. Ferrara is a family nurse practitioner who obtained her doctorate degree in nursing science from Stony Brook University in 2015. She is the Assistant Director of Electrophysiology Services at White Plains Hospital. Working alongside electrophysiology physicians in the pacemaker center, NP. Ferrara strives to provide above-standard care to patients who use cardiovascular implantable electronic devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, loop recorders) to treat their arrhythmias. Her professional and research focus is the remote monitoring of these devices, as well as patient education about the best evidence-based treatment options available. She is a Fellow of the Heart Rhythm Society and member of American Academy of Nurse Practitioner
