The Salisbury Administrative Center is the main headquarters for the East Meadow Union Free School District. The center itself holds the offices of all of the administration, including Superintendent Louis R. DeAngelo as well as the departments of finance, human resources, curriculum, instruction, facilities, and transportation. It is situated on a large piece of property off of The Plain Road and all of the department offices are grouped together. The East Meadow School District consists of 2 high schools, 2 middle schools and 5 elementary schools, with a current student population of approximately 7,900. It was founded in 1814 and serves the population of East Meadow and part of Westbury.
