Dr. Leah M. Katz, MD, MPH, a board certified Radiation Oncologist, completed her undergraduate education at Wesleyan University in Middletown, CT, with a double major in Biology and Science in Society. After college, she completed a year of prostate cancer research at the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, Boston, where her passion for oncology was fostered.Dr. Katz earned her Master's degree in Public Health and her Doctorate of Medicine from Tulane University in New Orleans. She completed her Radiation Oncology Residency at the NYU School of Medicine in New York City, serving as Chief Resident.In July 2017, she joined NewYork-Presbyterian Hudson Valley Hospital's Cheryl R. Lindenbaum Comprehensive Cancer Center as a radiation oncologist.Dr. Katz has served in leadership positions with ASTRO (the American Society for Radiation Oncology, ARRO (the Association of Residents in Radiation Oncology), and the New York Roentgen Society.
