History
The Laurie Beechman Theatre is a 100-seat cabaret theatre in the lower level of the West Bank Cafe. The theatre is named for cabaret performer Laurie Beechman ( formerly the West Bank Cafe Downstairs Theatre Bar). Opened in 1983 by West Bank Cafe owner Steve Olsen, it's currently home to some of the finest performers in the vibrant New York City Cabaret and Broadway scene.
