The Larchmont Avenue Church Preschool was founded in 1974 by members of the church to provide a weekday nursery school for the children in the community. It started as a non-profit organization offering a non-sectarian outreach program sponsored by the church, and continues to be so to this day.
There are approximately 150 children ages 2 to 5 attending the school's morning and afternoon programs, which are taught by early childhood professionals.
The school is overseen by the Board of Directors, which consists of representatives from the church, parents of current and past students, and community resource staff.
