HistoryMatrushka started out on the 2nd floor of a house on Main Street selling high-quality art materials, beautiful wooden toys from Germany, and a hand-picked selection of fabulous childrens books . Over the years the selection expanded to include toys for all ages, and hand-crafted items made by artists and small crafters in the USA. In August of 2009 the store moved to its current street-level location and expanded further to provide natural baby toys and gifts, clothing, and larger wooden furniture items such as play kitchens and tables and chairs.
