HistoryBack in 2016 Danny was teaching only privately and predominantly in the Broadway community. Yet one afternoon a parent of one of his students said the neighborhood could really use a program with Danny's experience and relationships. So Danny thought long and hard, he had been missing working with everyday kids, and decided that the Slope was the perfect place to use theater education to empower young voices. One thing led to another and 3 years later the school is now offering 50 weeks of private lessons, 20 weeks of group classes, and summer camps. The school has worked hard to teach the gift of giving back by become a fixture in the community with charity initiatives, caroling at the hospital, and much more.SpecialtiesKids, craft, and community. These are the values Park Slope Conservatory has been centered around since opening in 2018. While our professional instructors teach legitimate techniques in our acting, singing, and dance classes, the focus around here is on fun! By combining traditional teaching methods with both a community-oriented and family-centered program, our students learn valuable and transferable skills they'll carry outside the studio. We offer school year classes, summer camps, and private lessons with curriculums based on each kids' needs, so your child can gain confidence through community.
