Founded in 1950, Jamestown Community College offers various courses in humanities, liberal arts, vocational education and community services. The college maintains one of its campus locations in Jamestown, N.Y., which houses the Hamilton Collegiate Center, Hultquist Library, Arts and Sciences Center, Katharine Jackson Carnahan Center and Community Services Center. The Hamilton Collegiate Center includes a campus store, student union, artwork and cafeteria. The Hultquist Library features more than 55,000 print materials and audiovisual tools in a variety of fields. Its campus also includes a television production studio, personal computer laboratory and distance learning classrooms. Jamestown Community College is accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools.
