It is a privately held New York corporation that has been providing waste services since 1954. The company offers fleet equipment maintenance with auxiliary buildings for tire repair, body repair and welding. Jamaica Ash operates a fleet of 135 trucks in the Nassau County. With a total workforce of about 400 employees, the company owns 22 acres and 1 million square feet of buildings. It serves the largest industrial, retail and municipal clients, such as Nassau County General Services, North Shore University Medical Center, Glen Oaks Country Club and villages, such as Valley Stream and Carle Place.
