In Touch Systems is a privately owned company that designs, manufactures and distributes the Magic Wand Keyboard. The keyboard is designed for people with disabilities, such as muscular dystrophy, spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, arthritis, multiple sclerosis, arthrogryposis and severe repetitive stress injury. It lets students with disabilities work side-by-side with their classmates on the computer and the Internet. More than 200 public schools and universities use it. The miniature keyboard is 7 inches by 6 inches and only one half-inch wide. Its typing area is approximately 5 1/2 inches by 3 inches. The Advanced Magic Wand Keyboard is 1 inch wider. They are electronically identical to a standard computer keyboard but require no hand dexterity. The keyboards never require two keys at once and can be controlled with a wand or with head movement.
