jon snyder founded the company in 2002 on orchard street on the lower east side. the goal was to cater to the needs of the new york restaurant community while opening the doors to the general public in a very small retail section. in 2010, strong demand allowed for an expansion to nearby ludlow street, where 3300 sq ft was leased and a brand new gelato factory was designed and built. the larger space also afforded a larger retail section - a gift to the dedicated following we have garnered over the years from the local and metro area community. we now service hundreds of NYC restaurants/hotels/caterers and gourmet shops, all with frozen desserts produced at our gleaming ludlow street facility.
