Established in 1910, Howe International Magnet School serves more than 300 students in kindergarten through grade six. Its academic curriculum includes various subjects, such as music, art, geography, foreign languages, math, science and social studies. The school offers various opportunities for students to participate in choral groups and cultural programs. Howe International Magnet School has a parent-teacher association that sponsors several family events, including international dinners and June fairs. It also provides transportation services. ocated in Schenectady, N.Y., Howe International Magnet School is a part of the Schenectady City School District, which is an urban school system that serves over 8,000 students and employs nearly 700 teachers in several elementary, middle and high schools.
