Since 1981, Horsefeathers, owned by Fran and Russ Rogers, has been a staple for simple and good food. The dimly lit place is named after the Marx Brothers movie and has a literary bent, with a mural of authors including Irving and Poe lining the dining room. One side houses the long bar with croutons and popcorn and the other has the dining room. On a nice day, most patrons opt for the outdoor seating in front. Weekend brunch is a draw.
