History
Frank Novickas, a member of the Golf Course Superintendent Association of America, has been entrusted with Hillendale's care since 1982. He oversees the maintenance, operation and management of the course, including safety and environmental standards. He has taken this nine hole very poorly conditioned golf course with dandelions covering the fairways and gravel roughs through many renovations. His work on the front nine is legendary to those who remember the old course. Once construction of the new nine started, Frank and his staff were called on once again to construct, grow and maintain the new addition. He now takes care of all 18 holes and Frank and his staff take pride in winning the Tompkins County Top Course Award since 1992
